November 14, 2009: Cast Iron Architecture in SoHo

Armed with magnets, the group explored the Cast Iron Historic District in SoHo to learn more about how this new building material transformed the neighborhood from a residential area to the commercial hotspot it is today. Back at the Center, kids and adults alike designed their own building facades in the SoHo style.
