2010 Fall Afterschool Programs

REGISTRATION OPEN

The Center for Architecture Foundation provides award-winning design education programming to New York City students, teachers, and families. Program offerings include classroom-based architectural residencies and professional development workshops for teachers through Learning By Design:NY, and youth and family workshops through Programs@theCenter. We also produce an annual exhibition of student design work.

A defining aspect of our programs is our ability to draw from a talented pool of New York City architects, engineers, historians and design educators who work directly with teachers and students in order to bring the built environment alive through interactive, project-based teaching methods. Our educators work with thousands of students, teachers, and families each year to explore the impact of design on their daily lives.
